Data & Media Storage Policy — Where Your Files Live and How Long We Keep Them

Where Your Uploads and Generated Files Are Stored

Every file you upload to FrameAI — reference images, source videos, and any other media — is stored securely in a private cloud storage bucket dedicated to your account. Generated videos and images are saved to the same private bucket the moment generation completes.

Your files are never placed in a shared or public directory. Each user's storage is logically isolated, meaning no other user — or FrameAI employee without explicit authorisation — can access your media.

How Long We Keep Your Files

Permanently, for as long as your account is active.

  • Uploaded reference images and videos remain available in your account indefinitely. You can re-use them across future generations without re-uploading.
  • Generated videos and images are saved to My Creations and stay there permanently. You can revisit, re-download, or delete them at any time from your dashboard.
  • Prompts and generation settings are retained alongside each creation so you can reference or refine a previous idea.

We do not auto-delete your media after 30, 60, or 90 days. Your creations are yours to keep.

What Happens When You Delete a File

When you explicitly delete an upload or a generated file from your account:

  1. The file is removed from your visible library immediately.
  2. The underlying storage object is permanently purged within 72 hours.
  3. Once purged, the file cannot be recovered — by you or by FrameAI.

Privacy of Your Generated Content

All generated content is stored in private object storage (currently Cloudflare R2 or AWS S3, depending on region). Files are served over authenticated, time-limited URLs that expire after a short window — they are not accessible via a permanent public link.

This means:

  • Your generated videos cannot be discovered by search engines.
  • Other users cannot access your files by guessing or enumerating URLs.
  • Sharing a creation requires you to download it and distribute it yourself.

Account Deletion

If you choose to delete your FrameAI account entirely, all associated data — uploads, generations, prompts, account information, and billing history — will be permanently removed within 30 days of the deletion request. This action is irreversible.
